About the poker rooms

This is how we decide the score for each element of a poker room:

Software score:
A score for the ease of use, stability and features of the software. The actual differences (other than looks/feel) might be quite small but still hage a big impact on the score because they mean a lot in terms of value for the player..

Bonus/loyalty program score:
A score for the offered bonus’s and any loyalty program. The size of the bonus and the rewards of the loyalty program are considered along with the demands to clear/qualify for the bonus/rewards.

Tournaments score:
A score for the availiable tournaments given their size, guaranteed prizes and general appeal. Sites with good overlays (added $$$ in the prize pool) will be likely to score higher.

Cash game score:
A score for the availiable cash games, the ease of finding a seat in a specific game, difficulty and variety of games. Many rooms have a huge selection of games/levels but not enough traffic so that it is easy for you to get a seat in your preferred game.

Signup bonus score:
Score is depending on the size of the signup bonus and on the demands for releasing the bonus. These days many sites will give huge bonus amount ($500-$5000) but when you look at what it takes to clear the bonus the offer is not so attractive any more

Rake:
A score for the rake structure used. This simply looks at whether you pay more or less rake at the site than the industry standard.

An even averaged score for the site:

0 Aces:

Worst possible or non excistant.

1 Ace:

Very poor. You should probably stay away from this site - unless they have very good scores in other more important areas.

2 Aces:

Slightly below average

3 Aces:

Slightly above average

4 Aces:

Very Good

5 Aces:

Excellent. Only given rarely. Any site with a few of these scores will be highly worth your time.
